There are some basic terms you should be familiar with before you can start. One of them is “calories”.
Calories: Your body requires a certain number of calories per day in order to maintain your current weight. Our body gets calories through eating and drinking. If we consume exactly the same number of calories that our body needs each day, our weight would not change at all.
The question you need to answer now is, “How many calories does my body require to maintain the current weight?” If you know the answer to this question, you can compare your calorie intake to the ideal person’s calorie intake (this is the minimum amount required for you to stay alive!).
Here’s how you know how much of calorie you intake:
